WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! Last week was a long week, but I am happy to say that my hand is almost all the way healed. Just one finger is still giving me issues, so excuse any typos, although I do think that I am catching them all.

Not being able to do much last week with only one hand fully functional, I did get quite a good bit of reading done. I finished six books and I am almost done with one more. They were all really good reads. Now I just have to catch up on all of my reviews.

What am I currently reading?

Startup Hell is my final ARC for this month. I have enjoyed this author’s other books, and so far this one is fun.

I, Medusa is a little slow moving, but I am enjoying it. I am almost done with it though, I expect that I will finish it either today or tomorrow.

The Last Hour Between the Worlds is my audiobook for the week and I have only just started it. So far I am liking it though.

What have I recently finished reading?

*The Anniversary was a brilliant thriller that I had a really hard time putting down. Very relatable characters and the mysteries were well done.

Seek the Traitor’s Son was really good and I really enjoyed it. I am very excited for the next book, but I think it will be a long wait.

🎧 A Deadly Episode was great. I loved the story line and the narrator was excellent. This is a great addition to the series.

🎧Villain was a lot darker than the first book and went off in a direction I wasn’t quite expecting. I still really loved it though.

*The Somewhat Wicked Witch of Brigandale was a lot of fun to read. I really enjoyed the characters and the fairy tale feel to the story.

*🎧Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter was so much fun. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. But the cats were my favorite part of the story.

What will I read next?

The Silent Paths of Night is the second book in the Gods of Night and Day series. I really enjoyed the first book and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next. This is an ARC and the book comes out in June.

Your Behavior Will Be Monitored is a book that I have been seeing around. It is about an AI company and how they are training their AI to create personalized ads. It sounds pretty funny.

I don’t know what my next audiobook will be. I will just have to see what I am in the mood for or if one of my holds comes through from the library. If you have a suggestion let me know in the comments.

That is it for this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday. I hope the rest of your week is marvelous and that you are enjoying your reading.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I’m currently reading Grumpy Alien Boss by Cara Bristol

In the last week I read 🥁

1 Wake-up Calls by Mariah Stewart
2 Alien Tower by Honey Phillips
3 A Cruise to die for by Heather Graham
It’s been 10 years since I read a Heather Graham book and it will probably be another 10 years, assuming I live that long. The premise was good and I thought I’d give it a go, but it was very stilted, too many exclamation marks, and lots of typos. And a very mundane ending. I expected a more nuanced one.

    Next up, not sure

  2. You’ve certainly read a great selection of books over this past week. I really enjoyed The Last Hour Between Worlds so I hope that you continue to like it too. Melissa Caruso is one of my favourite authors.
