Spell the Month in Books is a pretty straightforward meme. Find book titles that start with each letter in the month’s name, make a list, share your list, and that’s it! There are optional challenge themes for the months. I found this tag over on Reviews from the Stack.
This month’s theme: Favorite Authors
This ended up being way harder than I thought, especially with the books starting with ‘U’ and also ‘S’. I usually consider an author a favorite if I have read most of their books. But I kept getting hung up with favorite series. I would see a book, and think about how much I loved that series, but haven’t really read anything else by that author. Well, I finally settled on these books.
A – Aeronaut’s Windlass by Jim Butcher
U – Unexpected Peril by Deanna Raybourn
G – Geekerella by Ashley Poston
U – Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen
S – Swordheart by T. Kingfisher
T – Truly, Devious by Maureen Johnson
And look at that! They all have such pretty covers! All of these books and their authors are ones that I highly recommend. They all are favorites of mine and I will pretty much read whatever they publish no matter what the story is about.
