Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your weekend is full of fun and good reading. It has been about 3 weeks since my last STS post, with moving I just didn’t have the time to visit my library. So except for audiobooks I didn’t have much to report.
One of the fun things about moving is I get to choose a new library branch to pick up my holds and to visit whenever I need a book. My library system is quite huge as it covers the whole county that I live in. In fact there are 50 branches ranging in sizes from very small to quite large. I used to live by the main and largest branch, and I will miss that one dearly. It isn’t so far that I can’t go and visit from time to time, but far enough that it doesn’t make sense to go every week. Luckily I have 3 branches to choose from now. All within a 15 minute drive. So, I’ve been visiting them and checking out a book or two. It’s been fun to check out new libraries.
Library books I have added to my bedside stack
The Absent One is the second book in the Department Q series. I enjoyed the first book quite a bit and I am looking forward to diving into this one soon.
The Secret Lives of Murderers’ Wives is a book that I chose because of a prompt on one of my challenges. This sounds like a good thriller and I just love that title.
Stone & Sky is the most current book in the Rivers of London series. It is one that I have been meaning to read for awhile, but I am looking forward to it.

This is the final book in the wonderful Soulbound Saga. I just had to jump on the chance to read this one early. This is a great epic fantasy with great characters and world building. I also just love that cover. This comes out in December.
Audiobooks
No new audiobooks this week. I still have one that is showing up as ‘available soon’, but you never really know when that might be. Hopefully soon though as I am almost done with my current one.

Oh wow, such a big library system! The UK’s library systems just don’t get that big, ahaha. I bet it really helps with having a big range of books…

I’m pretty lucky with the library system here. It is very different in other parts of the country and even the state. But is does give me a variety of books.
