A weekly meme where I talk about what books I have added to my reading list this week. This will mostly be my library books, but I will talk about others as well. Not a bad haul this week. Five books total and most of them look fabulous.

A review for the audiobook version of Cursebound, the second book in the Faebound series. I had been putting off reading this book, because I didn’t enjoy the first book’s reader. But I finally picked the audiobook up because it had a different reader and I am so glad I did. I really enjoyed this one.
It’s the first book tag of the month and I am starting out with my favorite one. The Birthstone Book Cover Tag is a pretty easy one. Just find books matching the cover of this month’s birthstone. May’s birthstone is the emerald, so lots of pretty green covers.
A weekly meme in which I answer the three questions:
What am I currently reading?
What have I recently finished reading?
What will I read next?
The Listeners is the adult debut from acclaimed YA author Maggie Stiefvater. It is a beautifully written story about a luxurious hotel that is forced to host diplomats at the start of WWII. A lyrical and captivating story full of strong characters and a touch of magical realism.
A review for the audiobook version of Yellowface by R. F. Kuang. A brilliant satire on the publishing business and a commentary on how social media effects books and authors. Helen Laser, the reader, did an excellent job bringing this book to life. This is one you really should read.
