Audiobook Review: A Cozy Fantasy

A review for the very funny cozy fantasy, Dreadful by Caitlin Rozakis. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The story had everything I look for in a cozy fantasy, a great cast of characters, hilarious hijinks and a villain that really has the heart of a hero. It was hard to believe that this was a debut, it was so well done.

GoodReads Monday

A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. This week’s pick is a book that came out earlier this year that I have yet to read. This one’s a mystery/thriller with a dysfunctional family.

Stacking the Shelves

A weekly meme where I talk about what books I have added to my reading list this week. This will mostly be my library books, but I will talk about others as well. This week I was finally able to get back into my local library branch and pick up some holds. But not much else this week.

Two Audiobook Reviews:

Two audiobook reviews for you today. Both of these books were a little hard to listen to for different reasons. I don’t think I recommend the audiobooks, but I do think you should give both these books a try. The Mars House was an excellent commentary on society and politics. The Last Murder at the End of the World was an excellent mystery set on an island with the only survivors of humanity left to solve a murder.
