A review for the first book in a new series by Fern Michaels. Smuggler’s Cove is the first book I have read by this author and unfortunately it didn’t really work for me. There were a couple of things I liked but the overall story was disappointing.

My June 2025 TBR
It is the end of May, so it is time to talk about the books I plan to read in June. I have lots of good books lined up and I am pretty excited about many of them, especially the ARCs.
ARC Review: A Musical Romance
A review for the newest book by Ashley Poston. Sounds Like Love is a wonderfully sweet romance with just a touch of magic. I loved the two main characters, the small town setting and the musical references throughout the story.
Audiobook ARC: Lock Up Your Dragons, It’s
A review for the audiobook version of the upcoming sapphic romance, Lady’s Knight by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. I really enjoyed the story, the romance and the fairy tale like setting. Lots of fun characters and a lovely romance.
ARC Review: Hunger, Love, Rage
A review for the new book Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V. E. Schwab. I really did think I would fall in love with this book, like I have done with almost all of her books, but alas I did not. I did like it though, and found it to be an interesting take on vampires.
ARC Review: Assassins Anonymous #2
A review for the second book in the Assassin’s Anonymous series by Rob Hart. I had no idea that this was going to be a series, so when I stumbled onto The Medusa Protocol I was very excited to read it. Just as fast paced and darkly humorous as the first book, I really enjoyed it.
