Audiobook Review: A Cozy Horror
This is a review for the new full length book by Lindy Ryan. It is a cozy horror, full of heart, warmth and fun characters. Yes there are some gruesome scenes, but the rest of the story is pure delight and the narrator does an excellent job of bringing them to life.
ARC Review: A Dark Novella
A review for the new novella by Premee Mohamed, The Butcher of the Forest. This is a dark fairy tale with an older protagonist who has to go into a dangerous forest to rescue the children of a Tyrant.
ARC Audiobook Review: A Gothic Fantasy
A review for the audiobook version of Starling House by Alix Harrow. A contemporary gothic fantasy about a house with a very dark past and many secrets.
ARC Review: A Creepy Desert House
A review for the new horror thriller by Kiersten White coming out in August. Mister Magic is a psychological thriller with some horror and science fiction mixed in.
ARC Review: Sisters of the Salt #2
A review for the second book in the Sisters of the Salt series. The first book, House of Salt and Sorrows was one of my favorites back in 2019. I think this one will be one of my favorites this year as well.
