A review for the soon to be released second book in the Witch’s Compendium of Monsters, Monstrous Nights by Genoveva Dimova. I enjoyed this one just as much as the first book. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

A review for a new YA mystery romance with a bit of time travel thrown in. I liked Remember Me Tomorrow by Ferah Heron. It had everything I look for in a good YA book, likable character and a story I keep thinking about.
An excellent debut by Genoveva Dimova, Foul Days, is an action packed story full of monsters and characters with a lot of heart. It is dark yet the characters are full of warmth and there is humor throughout that keeps the darkness from overwhelming the story. There is also a light romance that I am rooting for in the next book.
A review for the new book in the Mr Darcy and Miss Tilney cozy mystery series. This one takes us back to the world of Pride and Prejudice with many of the characters from that book making their appearance her. Another nicely done reimagining of the beloved Jane Austen world.
A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. For this week’s choice I am still looking back at all of the lovely books that were published this year, but I have yet to read! So many books, so little time. This week’s pick is one that only recently came to my attention but was released in March. It is a dark academia, with a mystery and is also a young adult book. It sounds really good and might be one I pick up soon.
A review for the upcoming sequel to One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig. Two Twisted Crowns is a dark, gothic, fantasy with a complex magical system and characters that you will fall in love with.
