I had a very busy week reading some holiday books. It really put me in the mood for the holidays. This post is three short reviews for some great books. I highly recommend all of them but especially The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year. It was a blast and I really enjoyed the romance and the mystery.
This is my favorite book set in the World of the White Rat series. Swordheart by T. Kingfisher is a cozy adventure with a lovely romance. I loved all of the characters and would spend time with them again and again.
the second and final book in the Isles of the Gods duology was just as fabulous as the first book. The audiobook was just as good as the first one, with the full cast doing an excellent job bringing the characters to life.
A review for the third and final book in the Emily Wilde series. In this book, Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales Emily and Wendell travel to Wendell’s home to seize back the throne from his stepmother. It is a journey that neither of them will soon forget. The book is being release in February 2025.
