Of Sorcery and Science is a nice mix of science fiction and fantasy. Two teens, both chosen ones, use science to explain why magic is failing in the fantasy world they visit.
A review for the new book by Caitlin Rozakis. Startup Hell is a fun contemporary fantasy that poked fun at office culture and tech startups. It is fast paced with a lot of fun quirky characters and witty banter. How far would you go to be a the top of your business.
A review for the audiobook version of the second in the Hench series by Natalie Zina Walschots. Villain continues Anna’s story as she continues her descent into her role as a villain. This is a dark story but with very well written characters that you can’t help but like even when they are at their worst.

I found this alternate world full of superheroes and villains to be a fascinating look at why someone would choose to work for a ‘villain’. Loved the characters and the story and I am really looking forward to the sequel coming out in May.
A review for T. Kingfisher’s novel, Snake-Eater. I enjoyed this story about a young woman who is on a journey of self discovery and finds a home in the desert. I found this to be pretty light on the horror, but a really strong story contemporary story with some magical realism.
A review for the first book in a new series by Stephanie Garber. Alchemy of Secrets is an urban fantasy, with a great heroine and a very intricate plot. Fans of this author are going to love this one as will fans of urban fantasy.
