A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. This week’s pick is a long overdue second book in a really interesting series. The first book came out in 2021 and had a lot of hype around it. I hope this one is just as good.
A review for the upcoming debut YA thriller by Trish Lundy, The One That Got Away With Murder. This is one hell of a debut with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the murders are solved. The audiobook was well done with wonderful readers bringing the characters to life.
A review for the YA fantasy A Door in the Dark by Scott Reintgen. This is a survival story that involves magic, has characters that you might not like by the end, and a very intricate magical system and world. The story will keep you guessing till the end about everyone’s secrets.

A review for the newest book by Holly Jackson, The Reappearance of Rachel Price. A very dark twisty tale of family secrets, trust and one of the worst dysfunctional family ever. I loved it, and had a really hard time putting it down.
