A review for the new book by Paula Hawkins, The Blue Hour. This suspense thriller unfortunately didn’t quite work for me, mostly because of the lack of suspense and a very ambiguous ending.

ARC Review: Ink & Sigil #3
A review for the third and final book in the Ink & Sigil series by Kevin Hearne. Candle and Crow was a fine ending to an interesting series. The magic of ink and sigils is a very interesting one and I was sad to see that part of the story end. Overall the ending was pretty much what I was expecting and I found it to be satisfying.
Book Review: A Survival Thriller
A review for the newest YA thriller by Natalie D. Richards, 49 Miles Alone. A well crafted survival story about two backpackers who enter the desert but encounter trouble at every turn. A fast paced book with lots of twists that will keep you guessing.
2024 Nonfiction Reader Challenge # 6
This year I have joined in the Nonfiction Reader Challenge to help me read more nonfiction.
This month I read a book about a place I used to hang out at in my twenties. I never realized how important the dance club I hung out in was to the music industry and how many bands got their start there.
Audiobook Review: Living with History
A review for the audiobook version of The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley. This was a great debut that touches on a lot of subjects. It is a bit of a time travel book, a slow burn romance and a spy thriller all rolled into one.
