So many books, so little time! I guess one of the good things about this forced staying at home is that I may actually get to some of the books on my unread bookshelf. Here are some of the books I’m planning on reading this month. Of course I may change my mind on some of them, so this is more of a guideline.
ARC’s I need to read
I’m not sure what is going on with Hard Wired, it initially was going to be out on April 28, but now NetGalley, Amazon and Goodreads are saying July 7th. Well, I have it on my list for April so that is when I am going to read it. I know some publishers are moving release dates around because of closures, this might be one of those. The Girl and the Witch’s Garden (May 26th) is a middle grade that I picked up, mostly because of the cover, but also the author. The Bone Thief (May 26th) is the second book in the Bone Charmer series. I’m hoping to get my hands on a copy of the first book so that I can reread it, I don’t remember it as well as I want. But we shall see.
Books I own
I know I keep putting Supernova on my list, but this is the month it is going to happen. Gap Year in Ghost Town I just unearthed when I was spring cleaning. It got lost and I totally forgot that I had bought it months ago. Really looking forward to reading it. Infinity Son is another one I keep putting up as a possible read, but I think this month might be the winner for it. I almost read it in March, but then started looking at the reviews which mostly said the world building wasn’t good, so put it aside. But I’m still interested in reading it and making my own opinions.
Middle Grade Books
These are some books that I managed to bring home before they closed my school. I know some of you are TJ Klune fans, but I have never read any of his books. The House in the Cerulean Sea looks like a good one to start with. Mananaland and A Guard Dog Named Honey both looked like fun reads.
Audiobooks
June 25th
I just got approval for the last book in the LifeL1k3 series, so I definitely need to reread the first two before I get to that one. Then the second book in the Aurora Cycle is coming out in May so I really want to reread that one too.

So those are most likely the books I will be reading in April. Things could change though, I seem to be mood reading more than I normally do. What book are you excited to read in April?
I hope you have a great reading month! I hop to read Supernova sometime soon!
Lifelike and deviate were very good on audio!
