May 2020 Releases

Well, this is going to be a pretty short list. You may have noticed that many publishers are changing release dates because of the pandemic messing stuff up. Many of the books that I originally had on this list are now coming out in the summer, so the lists for July and August will probably be really long. Oh well, what can you do? The ones that are left I am still super excited about and while checking on dates, I discovered a few more books that were not yet on my radar, so how cool is that?

Coming May 5th

Aurora Burning is a book that I am super excited to get my hands on. I just loved the first book and can’t wait for the second.

Yeah! Another Murderbot story and this one a full length novel! I am super Excited and doing a little dance of glee! This is one of the books that I just discovered is coming out and I can’t wait!

The Life and (Medieval) Times of Kit Sweetly sounds like a fun romcom taking place in a medieval themed restaurant. I’ve never been to one of those, but was always kind of curious about them.

Coming soon in May

House of Dragons (May 12th) I really like the Kingdom on Fire series, so I am interested in seeing something new by this author. And of course I can’t pass up on dragons.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has been taking a bit of a hit in social media, and I get their point, but this is her first book is years (maybe a decade?) and I just have to read it.

The Bone Thief (May 26th) Even though I have read this, I am still looking forward to getting a copy. This was a really excellent duology. I should have my review up next week.

Of Silver and Shadow (May 26th) This is a debut book and I have to admit it sounds pretty interesting. I always love a good rebellion.

At this point I don’t see publishers changing any of these release dates, but you never know. I certainly hope not as I am excited for all of these. What book are you super excited to read next month?
