May 2020 TBR

I have been pretty good since this whole stay at home thing started, and I haven’t bought that many books. I am trying really hard to read the ones I have. That said, I do have a lot of books on hold at the library that all seem to be coming at once, of course. Plus, I have been mood reading lately, picking up what I feel like instead of what I should be reading. So I think this list will be shorter than what I usually put out there, because I am not really sure what I will be reading this month.

ARC’s I’m planning on reading this month

With the publishers messing around with release dates, I am already working on reading books that are coming out in July and August. These three are next on my list so they will probably get done sometime this month.

The Crow Rider is the next in a duology. I enjoyed the first one so I am looking forward to this one.

Deal with the Devil by Kit Rocha. I just couldn’t resist a series called Mercenary Librarians, I mean come on. And don’t even get me started on that cover! I think I will either love it or hate it, but either way it should be interesting.

It Came From the Sky has such an interesting premise that I couldn’t resist. Plus I like the author’s other books.

Other Books I will be reading

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes doesn’t come out for a couple of weeks yet, but I have it ordered and can’t wait to get my hands on it.

The Loop is a library book, and it is one I have been waiting for for awhile so I can’t wait to dive in.

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires is another library book, and just sounds like an interesting read. I have been seeing it around a lot, and even though I am not super into vampires, I thought I would see what the fuss is about.

And of course because all of my holds always come at once, Girls Save the World in This One, will be one of my reads this month too.

Well, at least I have a nice variety of books to choose from! What are you planning on reading in May?
