I love rereading books, so when I saw this tag on Evelyn Reads it was a given that I would do it. I mostly reread books when the last book in a series comes out and I can’t remember what the specifics of the story were. But I do occasionally indulge in a reread just because I loved the book so much.
Thanks to Brianna @Brianna’s Books and Randomness for creating this tag!

Whenever I think of books I read and loved in my childhood, this is always the first one that comes to mind. I just adored this story and still do.

Laini Taylor is one of my favorite authors but for some reason I just couldn’t get into this book. I’ve tried twice now, but I keep thinking I will try again someday. Third time’s the charm, right?

This is probably my favorite Maggie Stiefvater book. I keep looking at it on my shelf and think about reading it again, but I haven’t yet.

I read a lot of classics in my youth, and this was one I really struggled with, but didn’t really hate, until I was about 75% (of a 1,000+ pages!) done and discovered that about 50 pages were missing. (It was a school library book) So needless to say I was disgusted with the whole affair by that time, returned the book and never looked back. (Yes, I did tell them the book was missing pages.)

I know I am interpreting this prompt differently than it is intended, but I was struggling to find an answer, so I am fudging it a bit. This wasn’t considered a classic when I first read it in high school, but I think it is now. Anyways, I remember reading it and discussing it with my siblings and not having understood it the way they did. I keep thinking that I want to go back to it some day and read it as an adult and see if I get something different this time.

So many to choose from….. I can’t possibly choose just one so here are my top three:
- Cinda Williams Chima – I can’t even say how many times I’ve reread her Seven Realms series.
- Holly Black – I’ve been thinking about rereading her Curse Workers series lately.
- Neil Gaiman – Keep meaning to reread American Gods, but I have so been enjoying the tv show that I’m afraid rereading it now will spoil that.

I just adored this series and have been thinking about rereading it, but I haven’t yet. I hope to before the end of the year.

This was the first Patrick Ness book I ever read and I just loved it. So looking forward to the adaptation!

This one was a finalist for the Audie Awards. I loved reading this book, so I am sure the audiobook will be great too. Although I will probably wait to reread it until closer to when the second book will be published, whenever that will be.

I hope you enjoyed the tag. What was the last book you reread?
I can’t believe I haven’t read The Knife Of Never Letting Go yet because it sounds just extraordinary!! I loved your answers, I also really enjoyed Shades Of Magic trilogy 😍👏🏻✨
