February 2021 New Releases

Ahh, February. Such an interesting and short month. Most people think of love and candy, and while I’m always up for chocolate, love stories I sort of have to be in the mood for. There always seems to be a lot of romance books that come out right about now, but there are plenty of other books where romance is not the main plot point.

I had a hard time finding books that I am interested in coming out in February. It might be me, it might be them, who knows?! But I did finally come up with five books, two of them contemporary romances, that I am looking forward to reading sometime soon.

The first two caught my eye, because they have main characters who work in bookstores. Always a win in my for me.

The Bookworm’s Guide to Flirting is actually a third book in a series, but like most contemporary romance series, you don’t have to read them in order. The first book is actually on my TBR list, so maybe I will read that one too this month.

Much Ado About You also caught my eye because of the bookstore angle but it also takes place in rural England. Another selling point for me. It sounds adorable and I am always up for that, plus a dog on the cover, you know you want to pick up.

Of Wicked Blood is also a romance and sounds really intriguing. It is an urban fantasy that has some profound curses, some even of the magical kind. It is also a suspense, supernatural thriller, just hitting all of the buttons with this one.

I saw the cover for The Electric Kingdom and immediately wanted to know more about this book! It sounds really good too. It is also a bit timely with a flu that is spread by flies killing off everyone.

Renegade Flight is the second book, and I have yet to read the first one! But it is a duology so now would be a good time to pick up Rebelwing so I can read them back to back. I love the idea of a cybernetic dragon!

Well I don’t know how many of these I will actually read this month, but at least I know that they will be available soon. We will have to see how the month plays out.

What books are you looking forward to coming out in February?
