The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have been in a bit of a funny reading mood lately. Nothing seems to be holding my interest, and I have been super busy with work and haven’t had as much time for reading as I would like. But this is not unusual for me at the end of the school year. I should be done with work next week and hopefully things will begin to look up.

All These Warriors is the second book in the Monsters series. I really enjoyed the first book so I am looking forward to seeing how things wrap up.
The Wingfeather Saga is a middle grade book that a student recommended to me. It has been sitting on my bedside table for a couple of months and with my weird mood I decided that this was what I wanted to read. So far it is pretty good.
A Perilous Undertaking is the second book in the Veronica Speedwell series and I am really enjoying it. So far it has been just as delightful as the first book.

What We Devour was a struggle the whole time I was reading it. If it hadn’t been an ARC that I felt obligated to read, I probably would have stopped reading it. I really struggled with the review as well, because I don’t like writing negative ones.
I enjoyed The Nature of Witches, but it was a bit of a slow read. That might have been me and my funny mood though. The characters were great and I did enjoy the world and the story.
A Royal Guide to Monster Slaying is a middle grade book that I needed to read for work. It was pretty good. I loved the monsters and the fact that even though they are called monster slayers, they really try hard not to kill the monsters unless they have to.
Tales From the Folly is a short story collection from the Rivers of London series. A couple of them I had read before but most of them were new to me. Loved the one with the library and the book that becomes some sort of creature.

Small Favors is the next ARC that I need to read. I am very hopeful that it will be a good read. I really enjoyed her other book, House of Salt and Sorrows, and this one is another fairy tale retelling so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
A Treacherous Curse should be my next audiobook, although I have a couple of audiobooks on hold at the library that might come in before I get to this one.
We Were Liars has been sitting on my shelf for years, and even though I have considered picking it up before, I have never followed through with it. For some reason, I have been finding myself giving it serious consideration lately and I think with summer starting next week that this might just be the year that I finally get it read.
I am really hoping that my weird mood goes away soon and that I will start enjoying my books more. I hope you all had a better reading week than I did and that this next week is fantastic for you as well.
Did you have a favorite read this week? Let me know in the comments!
