I haven’t done one of these for a few weeks, and I debated how far back to go with what books I have finished. But I finally decided to go back to just the start of the month, so about 10 days. Lots of good books were read and I am excited to share them with you.
What am I currently reading?
All These Bodies is my current ARC and I am really enjoying it. I had not realized that it is loosely based on a real murder spree that happened in the 50’s.
This Mortal Coil is my current audiobook and so far I am finding it quite enjoyable. It is a little disconcerting at times as it is about a pandemic that pretty much wiped out the human population.
What did I recently finish reading?
A Deadly Education was a reread and I enjoyed it just as much this time as the first. Such a dark and twisty story. Loved it!
The Deep was a paranormal retelling of the sinking of the Titanic which I enjoyed quite a bit even though the ending was a bit rushed.
The Last Graduate was amazing and even though there were some draggy places I really enjoyed it.
Your Guide to Not Getting Murdered in a Quaint English Village was quirky little book, but I still liked it, especially the illustrations.
Into the Water was another twisty murder mystery. I enjoyed it but was not surprised by the ending.
Any Way the Wind Blows was everything I was hoping it to be and then some. I loved it, it was the perfect ending. I really wish it wasn’t ending though. I can not get enough of Baz and Simon and their friends and adventures.
What will I read next?
As Good as Dead is the next ARC I need to read. I was very surprised that this one is coming out so soon as book two just came out earlier this year. But I am glad to that I get to see how this all ends.
The Serpent Sea is the next book in the Rakursa series. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in this one.
This Cruel Design is the second book in the series and will be my next audiobook.
Well that is it for my reading week. I’ll be off visiting family this week, so might not get as much read as usual. But I am looking forward to spending time with my family.
