September tends to be one of my slower reading months, so I am trying to be more selective of what I want to tackle for my reading. But let’s start with looking back at my August TBR and see how I did. Amazingly I read all of the books that I said I would. Usually there is one or two I miss, so yeah me for sticking to the plan last month. I have some good books lined up for this month, so let’s take a look.
ARCs I need to read
October 5th October 12 October 19th November 9th
I have already started Cackle and so far I am loving it. It is smart and funny and the main character is someone I can easily relate too.
Trailer Park Trickster is the sequel to White Trash Warlock which I really enjoyed last year. I am looking forward to spending time with Adam again.
Well Matched is the third book in the Well Met series. You don’t really need to read the others as they are all stand alones, but I highly recommend them. They are very sweet romances that take place at a Renaissance Fair.
Aurora’s End doesn’t come out till November, but I am rereading the first two this month so I am sure that I will want to dive right into this one as soon as I finish them. Really looking forward to seeing how this one ends.
What else am I thinking of reading?
The Final Girl Support Group is the second book by this author that I am going to try. I liked the first book The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, but it was a bit weird, which I did like. The premise of this one sounds interesting though, so hopefully it will be good.
Homegrown Hero is the second book in the Jay Qasim series. I liked the first book a lot and am looking forward to seeing what Jay gets himself into in this book.
The Edge of the Worlds is the fourth in the series Books of the Raksura. I am really enjoying this series. Such a rich world with interesting and very lovable characters.
Fool Moon will be an audiobook that I will pick up once I am done with the Aurora Cycle books. I enjoyed the first book in this series, Storm Front, and I am hoping the audiobooks will be good.
Well that’s my month planned out. What about you? What book are you planning to read this month?
I hope you have a great reading month! I can’t wait for Aurora’s End!
