WWW Wednesday

This was kind of a crazy week. For those of you in the States you may have seen on the news that the West coast was hit with something called a bomb cyclone. It is a little like a small hurricane (category 3-4). California got it worse than us, but it was pretty windy and rainy here for the last couple of days. On top of that I got a covid vaccine booster shot, which I didn’t think was going to be a big deal, as the other two were fine, but I had the strongest reaction yet and am still recovering. But all said and done I have been having a good reading week.

What am I currently reading?

You’ll Be the Death of Me is my final ARC that comes out in November. So far it is really good. I am liking the characters and so far the plot is quite riveting

Horseman is also really good and spooky. Perfect for this week before Halloween. I started it last night and had a really hard time putting it down!

I am really enjoying the audiobook of The Confession. Lots of good twists in this one. I really like the reader too! Great voice!

What did I recently finish reading?

All of Us Villains was just so good! I can’t wait for the sequel because that ending just gave me chills!

The Electric Kingdom was kind of weird. It was good though. I don’t really recommend the audiobook though. I had to switch in the middle to the book just because the audio wasn’t working for me.

The Eighth Detective was also a little bit weird but I really liked it. It was quite different from your average murder mystery book.

What will I read next?

True Crime Story is so far the only ARC I need to read for December. I guess this was already published this summer, but the paperback is coming out in December or something like that. It sounds really good though, so I am hopeful.

I bumped The Harbors of the Sun for Horseman this week as I wanted something creepy to read for Halloween. But I definitely will get to this one soon.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Summer Knight will be my next audiobook. Hopefully my turn will come in the next couple of days.
