Top Five Tuesday

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, and it’s now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

I know I usually post a review on Tuesdays, but I didn’t have the time or energy to get one done by today. I saw this post around today and thought it would be a quick one that I could get done without a lot of hassle. I will make it up to you all by posting two reviews later this week!

This week’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is books I haven’t read yet in 2021. I have been doing okay in this area reading most of the books that I was super excited about coming out this year, but there are stil a few I haven’t had time for. I hope to get at least a couple of them done in the next few months.

Top 5 Books I haven’t read in 2021

Empire of the Vampire was a book that I was super excited about and still am. I bought this bad boy the week it came out, but I still haven’t read it. I am waiting till the holiday break when I will have the time to sit and really give myself to this book. So this one I should have done before the new year.

The Helm of Midnight is another one that I was looking forward to starting, but just haven’t had a chance. Some of it was wanting to wait until I had a few of the series I am currently reading finished. So not sure when I will get to this one but hopefully soon.

Billy Summers is another long one and I have been waiting till I have the time to devote to it. I haven’t read anything by Stephen King in a long time, but this one isn’t one of his horror books and it sounds really interesting.

Threadneedle is one that just got my attention a few months ago. It is another long one and another start to a series so that is why I haven’t picked it up yet. This one I may not get to till next year.

The Witch’s Heart just made it onto my list last month, I have been seeing a lot of good things about it and I hope to get to it soon.

There are five weeks until the end of the year. So if I read one a week I should get them all done, right? Oh, if I only had the time! I do hope to get at least a couple of them done.

What book were you really looking forward to this year but haven’t read yet? Let me know in the comments.

  1. A good list! I wanted to read The Love Hypothesis. I’m now getting the book for Christmas to read in the new year. I have however booked myself on to a lot of blog tours so I might not get round to it until February 😱
