WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Most of my week was taken up with reading Empire of the Vampires. What a beast, but a really good one to spend time with. I had a couple of really long car drives this week which gave me time to get a lot of reading and listening done. More so than just staying home this weekend. So let’s get to it, shall we?

What am I currently reading?

Marion Lane and the Deadly Rose my current ARC and is not coming out until February. So far it is just as good as the first book in the series.

I am pretty close to finishing Empire of the Vampire. It is a hard book to put down, but it is also hard to keep going. Not sure what my feelings about this one are going to be by the end.

The Tenant is my current audiobook and I am enjoying it so far, although I am not too far in yet.

What did I just finish reading?

One Step too Far was really good and I highly recommend it if you like wilderness suspense thrillers. I enjoyed this one a bit more than the first book, but they were very different from each other.

White Night was the audiobook I finished this week. I loved it just as much as the others although the ending was a little bit sad.

A Game of Fear is the next ARC that I need to read. This is the next in the Ian Rutledge series and I always enjoy these so I am looking forward to this one.

The Sea In Winter is a middle grade book by a local author that I need to read for work. I think it will be nice to read a short and easy book after such a long one.

I think Rebelwing will be my next audiobook unless of course my hold for Small Favor comes through by the time I am done with The Tenant. We shall see.

Well that was my reading week. I hope you all had a good week too. This is my last WWW post of 2021 which is hard to wrap my head around.
