WWW Wednesday

I have been having a fun week of reading! I have been enjoying all of my current books, more than I would have thought!

What am I currently reading?

Book of Night is just as weird and strange as I was expecting it to be. It is taking a bit to get going, but once the world building is out of the way, I’m expecting it to pick up.

I have only just started We Could Be Heroes, but so far it is off to a good start.

Ghost Story is awesome! I was so happy when it finally showed up on my holds list. In fact, it was right after my last WWW post, where I didn’t mention it for once. Wondering if that might have something to do with it?

What have I recently finished reading?

I really enjoyed Fall of the Argosi. It was a really interesting story about Ferius and how she became an Argosi and found her path.

TimeKeeper was also enjoyable. It was a little bit slow to start, but picked up quite a bit at the end. Not sure yet if I will continue the series. If I do, it probably won’t be for awhile.

The Sweet Far Thing was a bit disappointing. It was really long and slow and had so many plot lines that I started to lose track. By the the time I got to the end, I just didn’t care that much anymore how it ended, just that I finally finished it.

What will I read next?

Bad Actors is the next ARC I need to read. It is the next book in the Slough House series. I am super excited that the books are now a tv series on Apple TV. I don’t have a subscription, but I just might have to get one to watch it.

A Snake Falls to Earth is a middle grade book that I want to read. It won a Newbery Honor this year. I really like the cover and it does sound interesting.

What Abigail did That Summer will be my next audiobook. I already have it downloaded and ready to go when I am done with Ghost Story.
