The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

This has been a bit of a weird reading week for me. I have been super busy which also didn’t help. But I still managed to finish my usual three book, but only just. Two of the books I finished this week, I actually started back in May, so they both ended up taking awhile. Things should be a little bit better this week and hopefully I will find more time for reading.

What am I currently reading?

The It Girl is my current ARC that I am reading. So far I am enjoying it, although I am not sure if I like the jumping back and forth in the timeline.

I haven’t yet started The Marlow Murder Club, but probably will today. I am really looking forward to reading this one.

Nevernight is my current audiobook and so far I am enjoying it. It is a little bit hard to follow as an audiobook, but I am getting the hang of it.

What have I recently finished reading?

A Murder of Crows was pretty good, but needed a little bit of work. There were some timeline issues that sort of bothered me, and it couldn’t quite decided if it was a romance with a little bit of mystery or a mystery with a romance. It is a debut and there are enough things that I liked that I would be willing to give this author another try.

London Falling was good, but it was a bit of a slow read. There was a lot going on, and I wasn’t a big fan of the multiple points of view in this one. Not sure if I will continue the series.

Youngbloods is the fourth and final book in the Impostors series. It was pretty fast paced and it was fun to see Tally Youngblood and Shay again. The ending was a bit of a shocker at one point, but it all comes together at the end.

What will I read next?

Grounded for all Eternity will be the next ARC I need to read. I am looking forward to this as it sounds like it will be pretty funny.

Death on Eat Street will be my next book. I am looking forward to this fun sounding cozy mystery.

My audiobook is totally up for grabs right now. But I think I will read Godsgrave next unless I decide to go back to The Traitor’s Game series instead. Early days yet and Nevernight is so long it might take longer than a week to listen to it.

I hope your reading week has been a good one! What book are you excited about reading this week?

  1. I have the IT Girl to read soon and I will be interested to see how the timelines work as I’m not always a fan of jumping about in time. Have a good week’s reading.
