It has been awhile since I have done a book tag. I really need to do more of them because they are so much fun! I recently saw this one on dinipandareads and thought it would be a good one to get me back into doing tags! I think this version started on instagram, but unfortunately I don’t know who the originator is. Let me know if you do!
The covers are linked to the book’s Goodreads pages in case you want to know more about them and maybe add them to your TBR!
The last book I bought:
I really enjoyed Mickey 7 and wanted to read something else by this author. Unfortunately, my local library doesn’t seem to have any of his other books, so I ended up ordering it from Amazon. I am looking forward to reading it.
The last book I borrowed:
I just picked this one up from the library. I hope to read this one next after I am done with what I am currently reading.
The last book I was gifted:
I’m afraid I’ve got nothing for this one. No one really gives me books as gifts, mostly because they know how much I read and therefore think that whatever they choose I have already read. Oh, the injustice of it all! 🤷♀️
The last book I gave someone else:
A much easier prompt! I recently gifted my son the first and second book in the Murderbot series. He has yet to read them, but I know he will love them!
The last book I started:
I just started this last night and so far I am enjoying it. I like the slightly quirky main character who I can’t decide if she is on the spectrum or just socially awkward. We have just met the other two women who help her solve the crime and my first impressions of them are good as well.
The last book I finished:
Technically this isn’t the last book, but I wanted to use that one for another prompt. This was the last audiobook however so it still works. I really enjoyed this one. It was fun seeing Tally and Shay again and hanging out with the rebels.
The last book I rated 5 stars:
I’ve been seeing some mixed reviews for this one, but I loved it. I really liked the supernatural twist and the Rear Window vibes I got from it.
The last book I DNF’d:
This was a tough one. I generally don’t dnf books and I think the last time I did was over 10 years ago. But I do come close sometimes and there were a few that by the time I finished it wished I had DNF’d it. This book is the closest I have come to not finishing in a while. I’m not sure what it was about this book, but it just took me forever to get through it and there were many times I thought about just chucking it in. But I’m glad I didn’t because I ended up liking it by the end.
The (second to) last book I listened to:
Youngbloods was technically the last audiobook, but I used it for another prompt and I didn’t want to repeat myself so I decided to go with the second to last book. I enjoyed this book and the narrator’s for the most part, I just wasn’t a big fan of the romance.
Well I hope you enjoyed reading this book tag. If you want to join in consider yourself tagged! But please let me know your answers I would love to see what other people’s response are!
I loved reading your answers to this tag. The cover for the Robert Thorogood looks brilliant and it sounds like a good read too. My answers to this tag are herehttps://witchyreading.wordpress.com/2022/05/12/the-last-book-i-book-tag/

So far I am enjoying the Thorogood book. Not sure if I have solved it yet, but I always enjoy it more when I am not sure who did it!
