The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Well it has been a bit of week, I was busy, but the week seemed to go by so slowly. I feel like it should be August, but of course it isn’t. Anyways, it was a pretty good reading week. I managed to finish four books. I also went to the library intending to pick up only one book and came home with six, which totally has thrown off my summer TBR. Oh well, hopefully they will all be good.

What am I currently reading?

I have just started The Dragon’s Promise but so far it is just as good as I hoped. And isn’t that cover just gorgeous? I could stare at it all day.

Dare to Know is one of the books I picked up at the library on a whim. It has been on my TBR since it came out and so far is pretty good.

Station Eleven came earlier from the library than I expected. I’m about half way through and though it is a little weird I am sort of enjoying it?

What have I recently finished reading?

Dance with the Devil was a really good read, with lots of action, corporate devilry, and steamy sex. It is always a lot of fun spending time with the Silver Devils and the Mercenary Librarians.

Noir was another book that I found at the library. It was pretty funny, especially if you are a fan of 1940’s Noir films.

The Barren Ground was pretty good. There were some slow spots where things really got bogged down, but overall I think kids will like it.

Six Crimson Cranes was a reread, which I decided to listen to. The audiobook was really good and did a good job of capturing Shiori’s voice.

What will I read next?

The Midnight Children is a middle grade ARC by one of my favorite authors. I have heard good things about this one and this author has never disappointed me, so I am sure I will like this one.

Bad Monkey is another library find and I am really looking forward to it. I have not read any of Hiassen’s adult books, but have enjoyed many of his middle grade books.

Godsgrave just came the other day from the library so this will definitely be my next audiobook. I am very much looking forward to it.

I hope that all of you are enjoying your day and your reading!

  1. So many great books in this post. I have to read Six Crimson Cranes this week before I get round to reading A Dragon’s Promise. I hope you enjoy Godsgrave. I just love Jay Kristoff.
