It’s Thursday so it must be time for a book tag! This one I found over on dinipandareads. She has a great blog, and if you are especially into romances, then you should check her out. This tag was originally created by booktuber Marc Nash.
The last book I gave up on:

I don’t give up on books very often. It usually has to be pretty bad for me to stop reading. I like to think that there must be something good coming up and I don’t want to miss it. The last book I should have given up on was Her Majesty’s Royal Coven. It just totally didn’t work for me and if I hadn’t been on vacation I just might have chucked it.
The last book I reread:

Six Crimson Cranes was the last reread and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time around. I reread books a lot, especially when the next book in a series is coming out and I want to refresh my brain with characters and plot. I read so many books in a year that sometimes it is hard to remember a specific book.
The last book I bought:

I actually did buy a book recently. I don’t purchase books often, but I sometimes will if the wait at the library is way too long or if it is a favorite author. I was in my favorite indie book store over the weekend and This is What Happened caught my eye. I have read this author’s newest series, but none of his backlist books. I’m not sure I realized they existed. They have many of them at my local library but I decided to purchase this one because it spoke to me when I read the synopsis. I am hoping to get to it soon.
The last book I wrote in the margins of:
Yikes! I don’t ever actually write in my books anymore. I think the only time I did this was when I was in college in my textbooks. I think it is the librarian in me. Plus many of the books I read are from the library, so no, not going there.
The last book I had signed:

I’m kind of guessing on this one as I really can’t remember for sure, but I think it was Court by Tracy Wolff. It wasn’t an in person signing as I haven’t done that in years. But I preordered the book and got to see her on a virtual book tour. It was really good. I hope to have time for an in person signing soon. I am not so patiently waiting for the last book. I haven’t yet preordered it as I am hoping she has some promotions for this one as well.
The last book I lost:
I don’t think I have lost any books the last 20-30 years. I have misplaced a few but I always seem to find them after a short search. I also don’t tend to lend out books, so I don’t need to worry about others losing them.
The last book I had to replace:
Not sure about this one. I don’t think I have ever had to replace my personal books. I think because I am super careful with my books and because I don’t lend them out I don’t ever feel the need to replace them. At work however I have to do this all of the time!
The last book I argued over:
I don’t think I have ever argued over a book. If someone disagrees with me about a book, then I just change the subject or walk away. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
The last book I preordered:

My answer to this one would be the same as the one on signed books so I am going to change it up a bit. I just don’t tend to preorder books. But I did recently request that my library order This Charming Man by C.K. McDonnell. I loved The Stranger Times and really want to read the second book, but they didn’t have it. None of my local bookstores had it in stock either. So hopefully my library will order it soon. If not I might just have to buy an ebook copy from Amazon.
