The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

My weekend ended up not being as busy as I thought it would be, so I was able to finish all of my books this week. I am back down to only being 3 books behind my GoodReads goal. Hopefully I can get that down in the next week or so. I need to find some shorter books I think.

What am I currently reading?

Children of Ragnarok is starting off a little slow, but I am beginning to get into this new world. I like the characters and the story is interesting.

The Book of Cold Cases is really good. I have been having a hard time putting it down at night so that I can get some sleep. It was a good choice to read this now as it has some very spooky elements to it.

Babel is my current audiobook. I have only just started it, but I am liking it so far.

What have I recently finished reading?

I really enjoyed Flight Risk. This is such a fun cozy mystery series with great characters, friendships and quirky mysteries. I also love that it is set in Seattle.

The Last Smile in Sunder City ended up being pretty good. It had a slow start and the world building was a little confusing, but I ended up enjoying it. It was darker than I thought it would be as well.

Billy Summers was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It is not horror, although there is some graphic violence. Loved the character of Billy, who is the sole narrator. This one made me cry more than once!

What will I read next?

Tread of Angels is the next ARC I will be reading. This is a short, but I’m sure, really good one. I have always enjoyed this author’s work, and I am sure this one won’t disappoint.

I really am going to try to read Killers of a Certain Age next. I had to put it down a spot on the list because of Cold Cases needing to go back to the library.

I am pretty sure that Babel is going to take longer than a week to finish, it is really long, (almost 22 hours). So I can’t say for sure The Ex Hex will be my next read, but I am kind of in the mood for something funny, witchy and romantic.
