WWW Wednesday

This has been a pretty good reading week with some really good books. I have given up stressing out about how many I’m behind on my GoodReads goal as there doesn’t seem to be any logic into how many books I am behind. Somedays its 3, or 4 or 5!?? I don’t know and I decided it wasn’t worth stressing over. I am still going to keep it in mind as I choose my books though. I have two more really long ARCs to go and then I will be on the hunt for short books.

What am I currently reading?

Tread of Angels is pretty good so far. A very interesting world with angels and demons. I am liking the characters and the mystery is a good one.

Killers of a Certain Age is also good. Another one full of fun characters and an interesting plot. It is only being told through one point of view though which is interesting.

I haven’t started The Ex Hex yet, but should tomorrow. I am looking forward to listening to this fun book.

What have I recently finished reading?

Children of Ragnarok was just as good as I hoped it would be. I love the mythology and the world building. Lots of good characters to love as well.

The Book of Cold Cases was awesome and one I really enjoyed. This is my first by this author but it won’t be the last.

Technically I am not done with Babel as of my writing this post, but I am so close that I’m calling it good. I have really enjoyed this one and get why it has been getting the hype and love. It is that good.

What will I read next?

Gleanings is my next ARC and another long one. I am hoping it goes fast though as it is a collection of short stories.

The Sentence is Death is my next library book that I need to read. I really enjoyed the first book so I have hopes that this one will be just as good.

Cursed will be my next audiobook which will be the first one from NetGalley. I haven’t yet done an audiobook through them mostly because the few I looked at were computer generated voices which was a hard no for me. But this is being read by Rebecca Solar who is excellent. Another long one but I hope worth it.
