What do you think you’ll read next?
Happy New Year and welcome to my first WWW Wednesday post of 2023! It was a pretty quiet week, but I did manage to get some reading done. I enjoyed most of them with only one that just didn’t work for me. Well let’s get started!
What am I currently reading?

The Last Voice You Hear is the second book in the Oxford Investigations series. I am enjoying it so far, although it has been a bit slow to start, but it looks like things are starting to heat up.
I have not actually started The Stolen Heir, but I am hopeful that I will today. I am waiting for that email that says my pre-order is ready for pick up at my local indie store. Hopefully that will happen today, otherwise I can’t pick it up until this weekend, which will make me very sad.
This Shattered World is my current audiobook and is the second book in the Starbound Series. I haven’t had much time with it yet, but so far I like the characters and the story.
What have I recently finished reading?

I really enjoyed The Twist of a Knife. It was a very well done mystery that left you hanging until that Agatha Christie like ending.
Belladonna was a disappointment. I just never really connected to the main character who I found a bit annoying. The mystery was predictable, but I did enjoy the Death character.
Everytime a new Illustrated Harry Potter comes out, I find the time to sit down and reread it. Order of the Phoenix was just a beautifully done as the others. There are some great drawings of Harry and Dumbledore and many others that are favorites.
I enjoyed These Broken Stars and I am looking forward to seeing what Lilac and Tarver get up to in the last book in the series.
Dirk Gentley’s Holistic Detective Agency was my last read of 2023. Although I don’t have a memory of definitely reading this before, I think I did, as parts seemed familiar. It was a fun read to end the year with.
What will I read next?

Don’t Hex and Drive is the next e-book that I need to read. I enjoyed the first book in this series so I am looking forward to spending some more time with the Savoie sisters.
The Sacrifice is the next book I will pick up. It is a short book, and one I meant to read last year.
Their Fractured Light will probably be my next audiobook. I am looking forward to seeing how this all works out.

Well that is my week of reading sorted out. I really hope I get The Stolen Heir today, if I don’t I might just pick up The Sacrifice until I can get to the bookstore this weekend. It will all work out in the end.
Happy Reading!
