I just love March! I love how it starts to get warmer and the days are really noticeably longer and all of the spring flowers are starting to bloom. It is such a magical time and I just love it. It is also the start of the final four months of the school year which is always a busy yet fun time.
I have lots of good books planned for March, but let’s take a quick look back to see how I did on my February TBR. I had eight books on my list and read seven of them. I started the eighth one, but just decided I wasn’t in the mood for it. Romance can sometimes be a mood read for me, and if I’m not in the mood, well it just doesn’t get read. I did plan to try it again, but I ran out of time before it had to go back to the library. Next time I find myself in the mood for a romance, it will be first on my list.
ARC’s I need to read

Arrested Adolescence is a nonfiction biography that I am really looking forward to reading. It is about a man who commited a brutal murder as a young man, but then supposedly turned his life around in prison. This happened in the early 1920’s and was considered the crime of the century at that time.
The Last Word is a psychological thriller that is by one of my favorite authors. It takes place in Washington state on a remote beach. The main character writes a bad review for a book and the author starts to stalk her!
I have been a long time fan of Cory Doctorow and eagerly scooped Red Team Blues up when I saw it was available of NetGalley. This one has to do with cryptocurrency shenanigans which should be interesting. Hopefully the fact that I don’t really understand cryptocurrency won’t spoil my enjoyment of the book.
The Isles of the Gods is the newest by another favorite author. It’s a fantasy romance that sounded so good, and I just love that cover!
What else will I read?

Just One Damned Thing After Another is a book I recently picked up at the library. I saw the newest one on the new fiction display and it peaked my interest, but it was like the 12th or 13th one, so I sought out the first one. It is about time travel, but not? I don’t know it just sounded interesting.
Holy Shit is another nonfiction book about swearing. I saw the author on that Netflix show, The History of Swearing and she sounded funny and interesting. So I thought I would check her book out. Hopefully it will be amusing and informative.
And There He Kept Her is another psychological thriller that came out last year. It is another one that just caught my eye and sounded interesting when I was looking at audiobooks to borrow.
No Surrender is YA book that I picked up at the library book sale. I enjoy this author’s books and hopefully this one will be just as good as his other ones.

These eight books are the ones that I plan on reading. Of course I will be reading more than eight books, but only having these on my list gives me room to pick up whatever I want the rest of the month. I hope that all of you have had a lovely reading month and that you have lots of good books ahead of you in March.
Well done for reading seven out of eight of your February TBR list. I agree that romance is very much a mood read too. Sometimes, it’s exactly what I need to read but at other times, I want something less predictable.
