January seemed to drag by this year, so I am kind of glad to see it ending. February is such a short month that I am hoping it will fly by quickly and we can get closer to spring. It has been a very cold, wet and dreary winter and I am looking forward to hopefully some sunshine, or at the least a warm, wet and dreary season.
It is time to look into the future and decide what I am going to read, at least in part this month. I did well with my January TBR, only missing one, and that was because my hold didn’t come through at the library. Hopefully I will get my hands on it soon.
Let’s start with the ARCs that I need to read that will be published in March.
ARC’s I need to read this month

Antimatter Blues is the next book in the Mickey 7 series and I am really looking forward to it. I like the character of Mickey and found the first book to be quite philosophical on what it means to be human.
The Sinister Booksellers of Bath is also a second book in a series. I really enjoyed The Left -handed Booksellers of London and was excited to see that there finally is a sequel. It has been so long since the first book that I will be rereading it before tackling this one.
A House with Good Bones caught my eye with that interesting cover. Then the summary more or less hooked me and I knew I had to read it.
I love Marie Lu’s work and was excited that I was approved for Stars and Smoke. It is a different genre than she usually writes, but I am sure it will be wonderful.
What else am I planning on reading?

Frozen Detective is a book I picked up on a whim during my last visit to the library. The title caught my eye and then the summary had me hooked.
I saw a review for one of the newest Chief Inspector Gamache books and thought it sounded really good, but I wanted to start at the beginning with Still Life. I love a good mystery and have heard good things about her books.
One Dark Window keeps popping up on the various blogs and social media I look at, so I decided to give it a try. It sounds really good and I just love that cover.
I needed to include at least one romance on my February TBR and I have been enjoying the Stay a Spell series. Witches get Stitches is the third one in the series. It features a witch family in New Orleans and their supernatural love interests. I enjoyed the first two and am looking forward to this one being just as good.
Happy Reading!
Well that is my month of February planned out. I will hopefully be reading more than these eight books, but I like to leave room for mood reading and for other unexpected books that I find at the library or bookstore. I hope you all have a wonderful reading month planned as well.
I’m looking forward to the Sinister Booksellers of Bath too. Luckily I only read the first one last week so it’s quite fresh in my mind. I hope that you enjoy Still Life. I love the Inspector Gamache mysteries although they are often quite slow paced.

So far I am enjoying my reread of the first book. It has been so long, that I had forgotten quite a bit of it! I don’t mind slow if the mystery is good!

Love that. It was part of our Book Club. We’re reading Neon Gods for February if you want to join in on Insta.

It was the Three Pines TV show that got me interested in her books. I don’t know if I will read them all, but I am willing to give it a shot.
