April Showers Book Tag

I saw this tag on Booksare42 earlier this week and thought it looked like a lot of fun and it was. This tag was created by Beyond the Book Reviews and Mad for Books, Luv

Share a book with water on the cover

The whole cover is water! I really like this cover for the series, rather than the new one they have for the collection. I’m still waiting to read the third part. I hope it comes soon.

What’s a classic novel you’d curl up on the couch with

I think Pride and Prejudice is the only classic that I have read more than once, and would gladly read again.

Share a scary book you would read during a rainstorm

This was a tough one to answer, but I finally decided on this one as it is scary but still kind of cozy.

What’s a good book recommendation for a rainy day

One that is short enough and the pacing and twists will keep you turning those pages.

What two characters would you like to spend a rainy day with?

I had a hard time coming up with an answer for this one, but I finally settled on Veronica and Stoker. But only if I could travel to their time and home and have tea with them.

Share a book that has a blue cover

There were so many to choose from but I think this one is my favorite. I really need to get around to reading this one soon.

What book has a rainy setting at some point?

If memory serves, the main events take place during a storm. But the whole book is pretty creepy and it is short enough you could read it in a day.

What book would you not mind using as an umbrella

I wasn’t sure how to interpret this one, but I went on the side of using a book I didn’t like. I know there are a lot of you who did enjoy this one, so please don’t hate me, but I really loathed it by the end. Although I would cringe while I used it as an umbrella, because obviously it would mean ruining a book. 😉

Which character would you like to share an umbrella with ?

What’s an umbrella? Only wimps use those. But fun aside, I would chose Merlin, because I am sure his umbrella would be quite stylish and yet totally functional.

Share a novel with a dry beginning but an amazing ending

This one was a bit slow for the first half of the book, but then things really started to take off and it became quite ride the rest of the way through.

For most of the prompts I was able to choose books that I have read already this year, a little mini challenge to myself. I am not going to tag anyone, but if you want to do this one consider yourself tagged!
