I’m half way through my very busy week at work, and I think I just might survive it. I just have to get through this Arts show thing tonight and the rest of the week will be a breeze. Luckily my reading hasn’t suffered too much. I am enjoying all of my books right now and that is helping as well. The weather is supposed to be spectacular the rest of the week, and I am really hoping that I can find some time to enjoy it.
What am I currently reading?
Witch King is my current ARC and I am enjoying it immensely. Wonderful characters, a compelling plot and amazing world building.
I will be starting It Ends at Midnight today, so don’t have an opinion yet. But I am looking forward to it. I have heard some good things about it.
A Rover’s Story is a middle grade audiobook that I picked up recently. It is really fun and I love Res and how human he feels.
What have I recently finished reading?
Bad Summer People is my recommendation for a great beach read. It has lots of interesting characters and a plot that will keep you guessing.
Stealing Infinity was a fun and interesting twist on time travel. There are lots of good and bad characters and the plot will
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet was good, but not much happens? I loved the variety of species and cultures that the crew meets on their journey, but I’m not sure there was really a plot? Still undecided if I will continue the series.
What will I read next?
Ruling Destiny is the second book in the Stolen Beauty series. It is also the first ARC I need to read for June. I am looking forward to seeing how this one plays out.
A Winter Grave is a mystery thriller set in the near future in Scotland. It sounds really good and I can’t wait to get started on it.
Marion Lane and the Deadly Rose is the next audiobook I will be picking up, and I mean it this time!
I am so looking forward to a quiet weekend this week, as my next two will be really busy. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with my books as I am looking forward to reading many of them. Hope you are all enjoying your reading as well.
Confessions of a Serial Reader 
I don’t think that there is a plot as such in Angry Planet, it’s all about the characters and their lives. I enjoyed it though. I really want to read Witch King and can’t wait until it comes out.
