Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.

I have been wanting to do this one for awhile now, but I never quite felt like I had the time. I hope to be able to post this one at least once a week, but we shall see how things go. I don’t purchase books very often, so most of these will be library books, including audiobooks, and the occasional ARC approvals.

Library books I have added to my bedside stack

American Sherlock is a nonfiction book. As soon as I saw that title I knew I had to give it a chance. I read the first couple of pages before deciding to take it home with me and I have to say that I was hooked.

Coffin Road is another mystery thriller set in Scotland by one of my new favorite authors. This one sounds just as good as his others.

Fourth Wing has been getting a lot of hype lately so I am hoping it will live up to that.

ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account

Starter Villain popped up on my Netgalley feed and I just knew that I had to read it. I mean look at that cover and the title! How could I resist? The main character inherits his uncle’s supervillain business, which means his uncles enemies are gunning for him now. Doesn’t this sound like a great book?

Audiobooks

My hold for The Black House finally came through so I have downloaded it to my phone. I hope to start it in the next couple of days. I really like whoever designs the covers for his books. They are so stark but compelling.

Well that is it for this week. I need to get back to my reading now. I am really trying to finish Fairytale this weekend as it is due Monday morning.

Happy Reading!
