The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

We are heading out to the coast today for a short vacation. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate, and I will be able to spend time on the beach and hike the area around where we are staying. If it is rainy or bleak, that is okay because I am bringing plenty of books to keep me company.

What am I currently reading?

Long Past Dues is my current ARC and so far I am enjoying it. This is the second book in a series, so right now I am just getting to know the characters once again.

The Hundred Loves of Juliet is the library book I just started, and so I don’t have much to say yet. I certainly hope it lives up to the hype.

Assistant to the Villain isn’t quite what I was expecting, but I am enjoying it so far. It is pretty light and funny, which was exactly what I was looking for in my audiobook this week.

What have I recently finished reading?

Night of the Witch was a great start to a new historical fantasy series. It takes place in the 1500s during the German witch trials. The characters are great, and the plot is full of adventure and twists.

The Book Eaters was a little slow moving, especially at the beginning, but once I got into it, I ended up liking it quite a bit. I’m not sure if it lived up to my expectations, but it was still a good read.

All the Sinners Bleed was a superb thriller with great characters. There are quite a few disturbing scenes, especially the ones concerning the murders, but the rest of the story is excellent. My review for the audiobook will be posted on Friday.

What will I read next?

An Inheritance of Magic will be the next ARC that I need to read. I am really looking forward to getting started on this urban fantasy.

How Can I Help You is the next library book that I need to read. I might not get to it until I am finished with the book below. But it is fairly short so I might squeeze it in this week.

Painted Devils will be my next audiobook, but because I also have a hard copy of the book, I will probably read it in both formats. I have done this a few times with long books, and it does help me get through them faster. It also allows me to enjoy the story more!

This week is the official start of three very busy weeks for me. I think I will be able to keep up with my posts, but there might be some delays in answering comments and visiting others people’s posts. I hope you are all have a wonderful week and until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. This is a great mix of books. I really enjoyed The 100 loves of Juliet at the start but I went off it in the last part. I’ve just finished An Inheritance of Magic so will be interested to see what you think. I’m still a bit unsure about what I think of it.
