My November 2023 TBR

The year is almost done and I still have so many books to read! I still have about 16 books on hold at the library, six of them audiobooks, and I have at least 6-8 books that I have bought recently that I really want to read before the end of the year. Luckily I don’t have any ARCs that need to be read for December, so I plan on catching up a bit on my other books.

I am doing really well with my Goodreads challenge, with only about 15 books left to go, which I can probably knock off this month. I am kind of looking forward to the end of this year, mostly because I have lots of good books to keep me company as the weather gets chilly and dark.

Library books I plan to read

Never A Hero is the second book in a very interesting take on time travel. Hopefully I remember the first book well enough that I won’t be too lost.

After She Wrote Him is a back list book by the author of The Woman in the Library, which I really enjoyed. This one is fairly short but sounds really interesting.

The Measure has been getting some really good press lately and I hope it lives up to the hype. It should be an interesting read regardless.

Curious Tides has also been getting a lot of hype lately. I am looking forward to settling in with this dark academia sometime in the next week or so.

Owned books I plan on reading:

Kaiju Preservation Society is a book that I picked up recently for a couple of reasons. Ever since reading Starter Villain, I have been wanting to read more by this author. Also this was nominated for a Hugo Award. Sadly it didn’t win, but I am sure it will still be awesome.

The Accomplice is a book that my son bought for me. It sounds like a really good mystery and I am looking forward to finally finding the time to pick it up.

Light Years From Home Is another books my son gave me. I really liked Mike Chen’s other books and I hopefully will find this one just as intriguing.

In a Dark, Dark Wood was a book I picked up because of the title. It reminded me of an old story from my childhood. The blurb made it sound really good, and it will also be a perfect read for a dark and stormy night.

I am so excited about all of the books I have lined up to read this month! I can’t wait to get started. What about you? What books are you excited about reading this month? Let me know in the comments. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
