WWW Wednesday

I hope that all of you are enjoying the new year so far. For me it has just been the same old thing. But I am pretty excited about all of the books coming out this year, and the books I have lined up to read this first month. So let’s get to it!

What am I currently reading?

The Witchwood Knot is the current ebook that I am reading. I’m finding it just ok so far. I almost made the decision to not finish it and I might still do that. But it is beginning to pick up a bit, so it still has a chance.

The Seven Year Slip is my current library book. I have only just started this one but so far I am enjoying it.

I’ll keep You Safe is my current audiobook. I am really enjoying this one. It starts off with a bang, literally, and hasn’t let up yet. The narrator, Peter Forbes, is fabulous as always.

What have I recently finished reading?

These three were the last books I read in 2023. A great way to end the year!

Everyone on This Train is a Suspect was marvelous and just as good as or even better than the first book. This one was really twisty and although I had mostly figured it out, the ending was still thrilling. 

Fate of the Argosi was also really good and a nice ending to this trilogy. It almost makes me want to read the original trilogy again, just so I can see Ferius again. She is such a great character. 

A Curse of Krakens was also a great ending to this fantastic epic fantasy. Most of the characters got the endings they deserved.

What will I read next?

The Tainted Cup is the first DRC (digital reader copy) that I need to read this month. I hope to be starting it in the next day or two.

Shadow Baron is the next library book that I will be reading. Looking forward to this one, based on how much I liked the first one.

Listen for the Lie will be my next audiobook, but it is also a DRC. I am really looking forward to listening to this not only because of the narrators but I also really like this author’s books. This is her first foray into adult crime thrillers. I can’t wait to get started.
