WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday to you all! This was a little bit of a busy week, but I still managed to finish all of the books I started last week. All three were excellent and I enjoyed them all. I am also currently enjoying the books I have started this week.

What am I currently reading?

I have just started Close to Death and I am having a hard time putting it down. Love the characters and the mystery is so far well done. Looking forward to finding out who did it.

A Door in the Dark is so far ok. Most of the first few chapters is all about the world building, but I am finding that interesting. Hopefully the pace and the story will pick up soon.

Bride is my current audiobook. I have only just started it but so far so good. I love the two narrators, especially Therese Plummer, who I have heard before.

What have I recently finished reading?

The Reappearance of Rachel Price was so good! I really liked the twisty plot and the ending was perfect. Such a dysfunctional family!

Close to Shore was also a good read and was very informative about sharks and why they sometimes attack people. My review will be up tomorrow.

Bless Your Heart was funny and a lot of fun to listen to. I really enjoyed the many characters and the story was well done and only a little bit scary. Is there such a thing as a cozy horror book? I should have a review posted on Friday for this one.

What will I read next?

Dragon Rider is the next ARC I need to read. I am really looking forward to this one as I loved his first series.

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers is my next book. I bought this one a few months ago, and I am determined to finally pick it up this month.

Dry Bones is the first book in an old series by a favorite author. It will be my next audiobook and I am looking forward to starting this one.
