WWW Wednesday

Busy, busy weekend, but it was a lot of fun as well. I still managed to squeeze in some reading time in between all of the fun. It is hard to believe that May is almost over, especially because the weather has been more like winter than spring lately. I’m not sure my strawberries will bear any fruit this year, but I am a still hopeful. Things hopefully will get better in the next week.

What am I currently reading?

The Undermining of Twyla and Frank is my current ARC. I am so enjoying being back in this world.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong? is my current library read. These books are so much fun. I can’t wait to see where in history this one takes us.

Shades of Grey is my current audiobook. It is starting off a little bit on the weird side, but that is sort of normal for Jasper Fforde books.

What have I recently finished reading?

Foul Days was a very good read and a lot of fun. I can’t wait to read the next one! Which I have already scored an ARC from Netgalley.

Song of the Six Realms was good, but it was really draggy in the middle. I also never quite connected to the two main characters. I think it would have been better to get chapters from both perspectives, not just Xue.

A Whisper in the Walls was just as good as the first book. I certainly hope there will be a third book in this series as there were some unanswered questions left at the end of the book.

What will I read next?

The Love of My After Life is the next ARC on my June reading list. I am hoping this is as funny as it sounds like it will be.

A Slow Fire Burning is the next library book on my pile that I need to read. I am hoping this one is a good as her other books I’ve read.

The Mars House is my next audiobook that is in my Libby queue. I am looking forward to listening to this science fiction romance.
