My June 2024 TBR

Hard to believe that I am writing a post about what I want to read in June already. It certainly doesn’t feel like summer, especially weather wise. But I am still looking forward to all of the great books I have lined up to read this month. I have five ARCs that I need to read, one of which I have already started and almost finished. I decided to include it though, because it deserves some more hype than it has been getting. I also have some other great books lined up to read this month. I’ve included two that I picked for challenges I am working on and two that I am just really excited to read this month.

ARCs I need to read in June

The Undermining of Twyla and Frank is the book that I have already started and almost finished before this posts. But it is so good that I really wanted to give a little bit of love here.

The Love of My After Life is a book that I have seen some good things about. I hope it is as funny as it sounds.

Slow Dance is the newest book by one of my favorite authors. It sounds like a bit of a tearjerker, but I think I can handle it.

Such Charming Liars is also a new book by a favorite author. Ms. McManus rarely disappoints so I am excited to read this one.

Long Live Evil has been getting some mixed reviews, mostly because people think it is weird. I like weird, so I’m hoping this one will be good.

Other books I plan to read

Right Here, Right Now is a book I picked for one of my challenge prompts. It also sounded pretty good, a romance with a science fiction twist.

I know Who You Are is a nonfiction book about the Golden State Killer. This is a serial killer I have always had a fascination for and I am looking forward to reading about how DNA was used to catch him.

Canines and Cocktails is a collection of short stories by various fantasy writers. I bought it mostly for the one story by Kevin Hearne, but I am sure I will enjoy the other stories as well.

The Mars House is an audiobook that I know I will get done this month as it is next on my Libby playlist. I have heard good things about it so I am looking forward to listening to it.

I hope that you are all enjoying your time reading this week. Let me know what books you are planning on reading in June. I still have some room on my list this month to add a few good books. Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. So jealous that you got Long Live Evil! I looove the concept, and though I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed reviews too, the idea is just something that’s very common in manhwa (which I also love to read), so I hope I love it. And I hope you love it as well! Have a great June! πŸ™‚
