Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been another busy week, but I think today will be the last busy day for a while, at least I hope so. It mostly has been my nightly reading that has suffered from my busy schedule. I am just so tired when I get to bed, that I can’t read for very long no matter how good the story is. Hopefully things will slow down for a bit so I can catch up.
What am I currently reading?
Three Hitmen and a Baby is the ARC I will be reading this week. I have so far loved the other two books in this series, so I am sure this one will be a hit too. So far it is off to a good start.
First Mage on the Moon is good, but a little slow moving. I have been enjoying the characters and the world building is solid. The engineering aspects of the story have been amusing.
Once a Villain is the final book in the Monsters series. The audiobook has been pretty good and I am enjoying it.
What have I recently finished reading?
Somebody Worth Killing was a lot of fun. Totally a beach read. It was predictable, but I was ok with that as I really enjoyed the characters. So looking forward to the next one.
Paranormal Payback is a short story collection that I was a tiny bit disappointed by. Except for Butcher’s and Black’s stories, I found the other ones a bit lacking.
Didn’t You Use to be Queenie B? is a great book and one I highly recommend. It is all about relationships, but not of the romantic kind, which was great. The food aspect was also fun.
What will I read next?
Moss’d in Space is the next ARC I need to read and my last one for the month. Can’t wait to meet the sentient moss!
This Book Made Me Think of You is my next library book I need to read. I just love that cover and I have been hearing good things about it.
This Story Might Save Your Life is my next audiobook and I am really looking forward to listening to it. It is about a pair of podcasters who disappear.
