WWW Wednesday

Such a busy busy week! I have managed to clean out two rooms in the house so far. Next I am tackling the kitchen, which I am sort of looking forward to. 🤣 Anyways, I still managed to get quite a bit of reading done. I have been finding myself spending most of my mornings reading before tackling the cleaning, and then of course I have my audiobooks going then. I managed to finish six books this week, which isn’t that amazing when you consider that I finished two of them last Wednesday after my post went up. Two of my books this week were perfect for me as they were very light and funny and I really enjoyed them, and one of them I just could not put down!

What am I currently reading?

Long Live Evil is my current ARC that I am reading. I am actually starting this today, so don’t have anything to say yet about it, but I am looking forward to starting it.

Right Here, Right Now is a really good read so far. There are actually two stories which are also the same story in this book about infinite universes. It is beautifully written as well.

Blacklight Blue is my current audiobook that I am listening to. It is a slightly different story than the other two books in the series, but I am still enjoying it.

What have I recently finished reading?

Slow Dance was a really good book that I enjoyed even when one of the main characters got on my nerves. Loved the very slow burn romance.

The Last Murder at the End of the World was different. I didn’t particularly like the reader for the audiobook, and I had some other issues, but it was overall a pretty good book.

Dreadful was as funny as I hoped it would be. I had a really good time listening to it. Loved the narrator for this one.

Canines and Cocktails was a nice collection of novellas. I liked Delilah Dawson’s the best which is good, because I think it links to her new series.

Relight My Fire was so much fun and a joy to read. I really liked the plot of this one, and it was fun to hang with the Stranger Times gang again.

Such Charming Liars was so good! I started it on Monday and got about a third of the way in, pick it up on Tuesday and just couldn’t put it down! I loved it, except for maybe the ending which I will talk more about in my review which should be up in a day or two.

What will I read next?

Zero Stars Do Not Recommend is the next ARC that I might be picking up, but I’m not sure yet. I might decided to pick up another August ARC instead, depending on my mood. Or I just might decide to take a break from ARCs and read something else. 🤷‍♀️

I Know Who You Are is my nonfiction read for the month. I am looking forward to learning more on how they use DNA to solve old crimes.

Starfish is my next audiobook. It has been awhile since I last read a middle grade book, but I needed this one for a challenge prompt. I have heard good things about it and it is a quick listen, so looking forward to it.
