Summer Vibes Book Tag

The seasons have once again rolled around to summer. I did this book tag last year and had a lot of fun with it so I thought why not do it again! The original creator is Deanna @ the comfy reader. Thanks for the graphics, they are super cute! If you want to see my answers to the prompts from last year go ahead and click here.

Rules:

  • Mention the creator and link back to the original post! (Deanna @ The Comfy Reader)
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you (tagged myself, thank you very much!)
  • Answer all the prompts below however you see fit
  • Tag some friends!
  • Feel free to use the graphics

I’m not sure if the Greek Isles are considered tropical, but this was the closest I could find for the prompt. I loved all of the the twists and turns of The Fury.

I am currently reading Right Here, Right Now and am really enjoying it. Both of the main characters are musicians and I love how the author is weaving their two stories together.

Not sure what a juicy secret is and I’m not sure this one fits the prompt, but I loved The Best Way to Bury Your Husband. All of the women portrayed were holding on to not only their own secrets, but each others as well.

Dark Water Daughter was a great book and takes place on ships and sailing across the oceans. And of course there are pirates, can’t forget the pirates! I was also super excited about the magical system that controls the weather.

This one was really tough as I never feel guilty about reading any kind of book. But I do sometimes feel guilty about reading something light and fluffy instead of those serious books that are winning all of the accolades and awards. My most recent fun book was Dreadful and I just adored the characters and the story was a lot of fun. I think we all need fun books in our lives!

This is more of a found family book, but of course that also means friendships! Play of Shadows had such a great found family of actors and even though the pacing was a bit slow I still really enjoyed the story.

In this fourth book in the Finlay Donovan series the gang takes a road trip to Atlantic City where mayhem ensues. Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is a wonderful adventure in comedy.

I didn’t really have any books that truly fit this prompt, but I Only Read Murder came the closest. I almost dnf’d it, but I ended up finishing it and mostly, sort of liked it? Anyways, glad I was able to finish it and ended up being ok with it.

The Love of My After Life was very light, cute and silly and totally predictable. But it was a lot of fun to read. This would be a great book to read while on vacation because it will make you smile.

I really loved Slow Dance, but Shiloh got on my nerves sometimes. I just didn’t like how she was constantly poking and touching Cary all of the time, and just didn’t seem to notice how that bothered him. There were a few other quirks of hers that also bugged my, but that was the big one.

I am really bad at tagging people, so if you found this a lot of fun to read, consider yourself tagged. And remember you can use all of these super cute graphics as well.

Hope your summer is off to a great start and Happy Reading!
