The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope the week has been good to you so far. The last two days have been very busy ones for me. But the rest of the week should be pretty restful. I finished five books this week, which wasn’t really that hard. Most of the books I was currently reading last week, I was very close to finishing. So it wasn’t that hard to fit in a couple of more. These last few days of August have been great as far as my reading. I have really been enjoying all of my books.
What am I currently reading?

Sticky Notes is my current ARC that I am reading. It is a pretty quick read, but also pretty emotional. It is a nonfiction memoir by a teacher and it really highlights all of those little moments that anyone who has worked with kids will recognize.
Red Side Story is the library book that I have just started, but so far I am enjoying. It is a long book, but I am hoping the pacing will be fast enough that it won’t feel long.
Apprentice to the Villain is my current audiobook and I am really enjoying it. I haven’t had much time for it the last couple of days, but I know that when I get back to it, I won’t be able to put it down.
What have I recently finished reading?

The Naming Song was good, but not quite what I expected. It took awhile to get into the story, and then it seemed to drag quite a bit which made it harder to get through.
Divine Rivals was a great read that I really enjoyed. Loved the characters, loved the plot, and that ending! I am hoping to read the second book soon.
The Maidens was also a really great read. A mystery thriller that was really well done. I will have to pick up another book by this author soon.
The Thirteenth Child was so good, I really enjoyed it. The writing was suburb, and the characters were easy to fall in love with.
Middle of the Night was also excellent. The twists and turns it took to get to that surprising ending were well done.
What will I read next?

Candle and Crow is the next ARC that I will probably be starting soon. Even though I had mixed feelings about the second book in the series, I am looking forward to seeing how it all ends.
Trust Me When I Lie is the next library book on my stack that I intend to read. I am looking forward to reading this favorite author’s debut book.
End of Story is my next audiobook. It is yet another mystery thriller, one that I found just recently, but it sounded too good to pass up.

One of the downfalls of reading so much, is that I am now very behind in my reviews. I hope to catch up in the next few days. There are so many things that I want to say about these great books I have been reading lately. I hope the reading gods have been treating you kindly lately. Until next time…
So glad that you had so many great reads this week. Hope you enjoy this week’s just as much
