My September 2024 TBR

My, my, my, the year is quickly coming to a close. How the time does fly. It will soon be fall, one of my favorite seasons. I just love the cool crisp days and the longer nights. I also enjoy walking through the leaves as they change and fall to the ground. So much fun. I am also pretty excited about this month as I have some really good books lined up to read.

Taking a look back at my TBR for August, I did manage to get them all done! Yeah me! They were also for the most part really good. So now on to what I will be reading in September. I have a nice line up of ARCs. I originally had seven to read this month, but I managed to read one of them and start another, so now I am down to four. Which is a very manageable number. I have also picked four other books that I plan on reading in September.

ARCs I need to read this month

Remember Me Tomorrow is a YA mystery thriller that has some science fiction thrown in. It sounds really good and I am excited to read this one.

Monstrous Nights is the second book in the Witch’s Compendium of Monsters series. I read the first book, Foul Days, earlier this year and loved it. Can’t wait to sit down with this one.

The Blue Hour is a mystery thriller set in Scotland. I have not read any of this author’s books, although I see them around alot and always hear good things about them. I am happy to give this one a chance.

Don’t Let the Forest In is the newest book by CG Drews. I have been following her blog, Paper Fury for years now and I look forward to reading her newest book.

Other Books I plan on reading

While Idaho Slept is a nonfiction book that I will probably be picking up first this month. It is about the horrific murders of four college students in a small town. The focus is about how social media and the police handled the case.

Heir, Apparently is the second book in a very cute YA romcom. I read the first one last month and really enjoyed it. This will be a nice light read after my nonfiction one.

Trust Me When I Lie is the debut book by one of my favorite mystery thriller authors. It is the first in a duology and I think a bit more serious than his Ernest Cunningham books. It has had a lot of title changes as it has been published in different countries, with the original AU title being Green Light.

Clockwork Boys is a book that I have been wanting to read for quite a while. I have been slowly working my way through this author’s backlist and I have heard a lot of good things about this one. So very much looking forward to reading this one.

September is shaping up to be a pretty good reading month that I am really looking forward to. I hope you all have some good books lined up to read this month. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
