The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! I hope your week has been going well. Mine has been pretty busy. I tackled cleaning out another room in the house, this time my quilting studio, which was a little bit of a mess. But it is nice to have a very clean studio to work in. I also went to a quilt and fiber show over the weekend and saw some lovely quilts and other fiber arts. I also managed to finish five books. The were all pretty good for the most part, though nothing spectacular. My current reads are showing some promise though.

What am I currently reading?

The Legacy of Arniston House is my current ARC and so far I am enjoying it. It is fun to be back in this alternate Edinburgh with all of the ghosts and other shenanigans.

Lies, Damned Lies, and History is the seventh book in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series. So far I have been enjoying it just as much as the other ones.

Paladin’s Faith is my audiobook that I will be starting today. So looking forward to getting started on this one.

What have I recently finished reading?

*In Want of a Suspect was good. The characters and dialogue were a bit more modern than I would have liked for a historical mystery, but it was still a nice mystery.

Ruthless Vows was a wonderful sequel that I really enjoyed. I both read and listened to the audiobook, which did help me get through it a little bit faster.

Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books was good, but tried to take on too many themes and got a bit darker than I was expecting.

Home is Where the Bodies Are was a well done mystery that was pretty dark. The characters were not very likable, but I sort of expected that.

My Best Friend’s Exorcism was dark but also pretty funny. I loved how the author poked fun at the late 80’s culture. I wish the narrator had been better though.

What will I read next?

Wheel of the Infinite is my next ARC I need to read. It is a long one, so hopefully it will be fast paced.

The Drowning House is a book I saved to read this month as it sounds super spooky, but hopefully not too gory.

So Thirsty is my next audiobook. I am looking forward to listening to this new take on vampires.

Wednesday is one of my favorite days as I get to see what books you all have been spending your time with. I always seem to pick up one or two that I haven’t heard of to add to my growing TBR list, so thanks. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
