WWW Wednesday

It feels like this year has just been racing by. Here it is, the end of October, and I am thinking to myself where has the time gone? Well that is to be expected I think. I had a pretty good reading week even though I was pretty busy this weekend. I managed to read two books and and two audiobooks. Only one of them was not worth my time, but it was an ARC so I had to finish it. The others were good and I enjoyed them. I am also enjoying my current books.

What am I currently reading?

Chasing Eternity is my current ARC. It is the final book in a time travel series and I am excited to see how it all ends.

The Drowning House is really good. The mystery of the house and the disappearance of one of the characters is really making me work hard to figure it out before the end.

🎧Virtually Dead is my current audiobook that I will be starting today. This is a standalone book by one of my favorite authors. I was hoping to pick up the next book in the Enzo files series, but alas my library doesn’t have a copy of the audiobook. This one has a science fiction twist so it will be interesting to see what he does with it.

What have I recently finished reading?

*The Party was a huge disappointment. Read my review if you want to know why.

The Black Loch was awesome and I really enjoyed reading it. I loved being back on the Isle of Lewis and spending time with the residents.

🎧*Unruly was such a fun audiobook to listen too. I really enjoyed it and I even maybe learned a little bit more about British history.

🎧The Fate of Magic was a stunning sequel in the Witch and Hunter duology. I loved the narrators and I thought they did a really good job of bringing the characters to life.

What will I read next?

Beautiful Broken Love is the next ARC that I plan on reading. It is not something I usually choose to read, a sports romance, but this one sounded a little bit different than the usual, so I decided to give it a chance. Plus I love that cover!

The Lightning Bottles is my next library read. It is a music mystery thriller, plus a few more other genres. It sounds good so I thought I would give it a try.

I have no clue what audiobook I will listen to next. I have three on hold, but they are all weeks away from being available. So I will have to look around for something to listen to when I am done with my current one. If you have a suggestion let me know.

That is this week’s news about my reading. I haven’t been doing the Goodreads Challenge this year, but I just took a look and so far I have read 175 books this year. Not bad, and I feel no stress about it either which I am really liking. Looking forward to seeing what you have been reading this week.
