Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Donโt forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you โ no matter how you got it โ it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tyngaโs Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
I hope you are all having a fantastic day so far. My week was pretty good. I was able to meet up with my former coworkers for our annual holiday get together and book exchange. It was nice to see everyone and catch up with them. It was a slow week as far as adding books to my stack. I picked up two library books, one ARC and then I received a book as part of a book exchange I took part in.
books I have added to my bedside stack

Holy Terrors is the third book in the Little Thieves series. I was able to score an ARC for this one and I am really looking forward to reading it. It comes out in April.
An Argumentation of Historians is the 9th book in the Chronicles of St Mary’s series. I am trying to work my way a bit faster through this series so I am going to try to read this one soon. Also there was a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the last one, so I need to know what happened.
How to Talk to Your Cat About Gun Safety is a very serious nonfiction book. I have caught my cat playing with guns several times now, so I think this will help me talk to him about this issue. Sorry, actually it is satire, but it looks really funny. It recently popped up on an Amazon email so I had to check it out and see what it was all about.
People We Meet on Vacation is the book I received at the holiday book exchange. I’m not a huge fan of Emily Henry, but I will probably read this one at some point.

A pretty eclectic group of books, just a little bit of everything. We shall see how my mood goes and see which one of these I pick up first. Have a great weekend, and take time for yourself! Until next time…
That’s a great selection of books. How to talk about Guns definitely sounds intriguing. I hope it is satire as the prospect of cats with guns is seriously scary. ๐Although not having thumbs might make it hard for them.

I have seen cats open doors, so maybe not having thumbs isn’t the hindrance we might think it is.๐
